Maison Gillardeau has made Marennes d’Oleron oyster farming a true excellence, inherited from a great family tradition and renowned preserved know-how. It is from this know-how that the Joséphine la Distinguée oyster was born, an oyster of excellence with an exceptional and unique taste.
The Joséphine has generous shapes, all rounded with a shell hardened and patinated by the movements of the ocean. The flesh is firm and white and it has an overdeveloped muscle source of particular flavors when tasting.
